Where Does this Go?
« on: May 27, 2014 - 10:29:39 AM »
My photographic memory has failed. Again. I seem to remember taking this off the bell housing but I forgot which bolt it goes on. It might be for the reverse switch? Help, please, from those with better memories.  thanks.

I believe you are correct, it's for the cabling for the reverse switch light and neutral safety switch cables.

On Hoover Auto Parts I found this info. Maybe it can be of help?

66-74 Mopar Wire Retaining Clip for the Reverse Light Switch Wiring on 3 and 4-Speed Transmissions. They mount on the underside cover retaining bolts 1 at rear top and 1 at the rear upper location.

Hmmm; one at rear top; if that means the top bell housing bolt; got that. One at rear upper? I will have to think about what that means.
thanks.

Yeah, I even took pictures of where everything was on the engine but I can't see them in my crappy photos.  Anyone?  I want to put them back in the OEM place.
