I liked the "desinged for Mipar" description. Makes one confident they're dealing with professionals.  :stirpot:

Good to hear that they are trying to turn around their reputation.

There was a few notes about this buried in a handling thread on moparts. Yes,there is a guy who has taken over the name and product lines and is working on turning it around. However, as near as I can tell, Buscema and the original founding group are no longer involved, which may be a good thing.

Not sure I am too hip about them only being on Facebook with an inoperative web page. Guess I'm leaning more towards dinosaur tendencies every day.

Sp I finally logged on to Facebook and looked up XV Racing Products. It appears they are somewhat back in business. I'm not too impressed with the upper control arms they picture. However, the "Products" is important to use. Without it, you find XV Racing which makes Toyota parts.

They are just two tubes welded to the ball joint socket. No gussets or reinforcements. Granted, they ma be just fine as I can't view weld or tube wall thickness or any other details with a simple picture, but I would want more detail about them before dropping my coin on them.

Interesting. All they seem to offer are shocks and Level 2 suspensions. I wish Chris the best of luck with his endevour. The XV line of stuff certainly came out of the gate with a lot of promise and seemed to just fizzle out once the hype died down.

They used to have billet control arms because the old ones cracked.

Also, they used to have Gen II hemi mounts.

Hmm...maybe they'll offer these in the future.

The reason that they were braking was because they we made of aluminum and poorly welded they went to a Cnc machined aluminum one to cut weight

Makes me wonder about the ones that they sold in the past, are going to break ?... I can't seem to get around all the quality problems they had in the past to use XV.  This thread here was enough for me. http://www.protouringmopar.com/showthread.php?460-XV-motorsports-Level-II-to-68-Charger-modification-started  I wish them luck though..

Hello, I'm the owner of XV Racing Products Chris Reinhardt...

Just to set a few things straight and I mean no disrespect to anyone...

XVM had ONE control arm failure, and it was fabricated aluminum, and it was an SCCA solo car.  I never had the failed piece in my hands, but the talk was that the car had extreme caster and camber angles that caused the failure.  It's also possible it was a bad weld???  XVM responded by building the control arms completely out of steel, and we never heard of any issues since, with either the fabricated aluminum ones, or the steels.  I can tell that I personally replaced the fabricated aluminum control arms on XV001, the orange Challenger that was the first Level II car that they did all the testing, and beat the snot out of it on the track and off, and there were NO Issues with them.

The billet pieces were offered as an upgrade, not a replacement for the fabricated aluminum ones, the standard part was the steel fabricated unit.

Also, XVM NEVER offered Gen II motor mounts for anything, I worked there and they never did.  They did offer, and I will offer a K frame minus motor mounts and the customer can fabricate their own...

Hope this clears things up...
