What comes with a conv top boot?

Looking at buying a convertible top boot cover. Has anyone bought one receintly and what comes with the boot?
Do the snaps come attached? and how about any clips to chrome (how many).

I'm looking at buying one from someone and just need to know what comes with it so I have all the parts.

E Bodies don't use snaps. They have clips sewn in that clip over top the stainless trim.

Are you sure? My rear interior panels had 6 male snaps. The boot comes with the female snaps that are not installed. I just installed mine.

The clips do come attached and there are a bunch.

Yes you're correct..they snap on to the rear interior panels, but they do not snap on to the stainless trim. I misunderstood the original posters question.

The boot I purchased from Year One many years ago came with everything ready to attach to the car.

I'm thinking of buying one from a private seller and need to know what everything is that it comes with.
I'm not sure he has all the parts and if I can buy them seperatly and how much any missing parts cost.

Have you asked the seller what it has?
Can the seller provide a couple pics that you can show on here?
As mentioned, the clips are usually pre-sewn in. I guess the snaps vary depending on originating seller.
Ask the seller to prove a pic if possible.

Got my top boot from Year One in 1987 or 88 and it is still in good shape. Came with all the clips and snaps installed.
It cost as much as the Year One Full convertible top with Glass back window back then.
Same top is still on my car today and people still ask me if it's new.
