Great job guys! I know Andy was hoping the car would make it to Carlisle or the Nats. Is that possible at this point? Once the car is done, someone needs to take some good pictures of it. I see a car of the month and a calendar in its future.

I think Mopar Muscle magazine might want a story on it as well?

It was a sad but a great day. The team worked awesome assembling, fabricating, detailing used parts and on and on. I think Cathy had a couple emotional moments watching it come together. We got the motor, transmission, front suspension (except shocks), fender gills and a few other a few other pieces installed. And for the first time in three years we got it off the rotisserie. Today we will tackle it again but we will not get this cool Cuda completed. Thanks to team and all the support from the members.

Does that magazine still exist ? I thought Mopar Collector's Guide was the only one left :dunno:

The tribute would make a great story for either one :angelwings:

Here are some pictures from Saturday  . . . I was proud to be apart of this effort to help this family.  Was a good day and the weather was amazing!  Not to hot and clear blue skies!

Hi Folks,

Andy's nephew here.  Thanks to everyone that came out, I know that some of you drove quite a long way to make it.  I know Cathy and her family really appreciate all the help, and not just the help with the car - having people over for support was beneficial for everyone.  He was a great guy and will be sorely missed, and having people pull together for something like this - well, I don't know that words do enough.

Thanks again,
Amir

Perhaps a suggestion: in some way to personalize the car in Tribute to Andy.
Input?

Amir, it's Murray. I think I can speak for the group when I say that we were honoured to work on Andy's car. Now that all the activity has subsided the heaviness of the situation will settle in with all of you in the family. We will keep you in our prayers.
