My favorite music is classic rock and oldies with Led Zeppelin being my favorite band, followed by the beatles, lynyrd skynyrd, the eagles, aerosmith, CCR, BOC, and other famous classic rock/oldies bands(the list is too long).

My favorites:
- '50s/early '60s Rock 'n' Roll (Elvis, Buddy Holly, Everly Bros., etc.)
- '50s/early '60s Doo-Wop (The Flamingos, The Platters, The Skyliners, etc.)
- Early to mid-'60s Folk (New Christy Minstrels, Brothers Four, Kingston Tio... NOT Bob Dylan).
- Some '60s/'70s Country
- Some '70s Rock (Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Doobies, etc.)

I would have to say that right now, my favorite band is Korn but I love to listen to Chris Cornell (especially him with Soundgarden).  Hard rock is my favorite, but I do dip back to the classic hard rock bands also, like Zepplin, Judas Preist, Sabbath, etc.   :guitar:
here are a few bands on the lighter side that I like too, but not too many.  I don't mind listening to some classical music once in a while, as long as it isn't opera and there are very few rap songs or artists that I can stand.

Most anything that i can hear blues based influences in. Some rap like Sir Mix-A-Lot "Baby Got Back". Some country like Clarence Carter "Strokin". That's sort of country ain't it? :wasted:  AC DC to Frank Zappa. Check out "Apostrophe" The man was talented AND liked to play a Gibson SG like Angus, Leslie West, Terry Kath and so many others. Heck i'll even go for some Screamin' Jay Hawkins :guitar: :guitar:

Mike,

Can you even download that stuff for your ipod?  You might break the poor thing!  (ha,ha, just kidding).  Is it true that you were talking about selling your car so you can buy the Partridge Family Bus????  I think I saw it for sale on ebay.  As for the cartoon theme song cd, I thought you didn't like cartoons because you were a grown-up??????  By the way, it is good to see you are back to posting.  I had nobody to pick on while you were missing in action.   :stomp:  :stomp:  :stomp:
