A friend of mine has a 1970 Cuda 340 , 4 speed with only 13,000 miles . He's the second owner . It was raced so there's welded frame connectors , oil pressure gauge install in the dash pad , roll bar , to fit the seat belts he cut the seat so the shoulder straps would work , repainted to a bad home paint job , installed a 727 . Since the car has been sitting for so long it has lots of surface rust coming out and the bumper chrome is pretty bad . Hood was replaced with a real shaker hood . My friend bought it for $3500 in the 80's . Sometimes we forget that these cars were really affordable and plentiful back in the day . This guy also bought a original hemi Belvedere for $1000 during the gas crisis in the 70's . I also know someone who had a original hemi challenger that gutted the interior , added roll cage , backed half the car and dumped all the parts he removed from the car . It was pretty common stuff back in the day . If we only knew
