Nuts and bolt plus studs, I have a small hardware store by me that has a huge supply of just about everything nuts and bolts.  1/2 hour one way ride though . . . .

Just talked to my tranny guy. He said he sets up lots of performance cars without the flywheel cover. Dirt and moisture getting in is not a problem and the tranny runs 15-20* cooler due to greater air flow around the converter. He thinks he could find a cover if we want one. Your thoughts please guys.

He is also supplying the dipstick and tube  :bananasmi

No need to travel all that way. The local hardware store around here has a great selection of automotive bolts. Everything from stainless steel to grade 12. Hell they even had a direct match for a crank bolt that I needed for an '84 Jeep CJ.

 I think that having the cover there to keep that crap out would be a better long term solution. I doubt the car is going to be heavily raced so trans temps aren't a problem. And if they were, could always get a supplemental B&M trans cooler.

He is also supplying the dipstick and tube  :bananasmi

 Is this a for sure thing? I've got leads on NOS Chrysler parts. Let me know.

we may need to either clearance the intake or lift the carb 1/2 depending on the carb used I think it was mentioned by I am not sure what carb it was , maybe a square bore Holley , if so it will need to have the choke well trimmed down so the linkage for the secondaries will clear

 Does anyone have the build specs of the engine? Knowing Andy I'm sure it's a stout build, the question is how stout. If it's going to be a standard square bore carb, I may have a 1/2" spacer around here somewhere. I'll have to dig through my pile of old go fast parts.   

 Oh meant to ask about the water pump bolts. As far as I can tell the actual pump is held in by 4 bolts all uniform in length. It would appear that the housing has multitudes of bolt holes, are those the ones that are needed in addition to the water pump itself? (Sorry, haven't wandered over there and looked to see if the housing was bolted on or not.)

It's all good. I know your heart is in the right place.
The clip is pictured on an earlier post on the thread.
Most parts are Mopar Specific. Most parts can be purchased through (MoparDave) at RosevilleMoparts.com.
I don't know the pitch and thread count on the water pump.- it's a 440, that's all I know.
The wheel studs- we only have a 1&1/4" stud, which is not nearly enough. I'd say 1&3/4 to 2" to be safe. Again, I'm not familiar with pitch and thread count. It's all Mopar specific.
Accelerator linkage- I think we could get that thru summit. Edelbrock 600cfm 4bb carb.
The u- joint should be pretty standard. I only dealt with getting one once, so someone else will have to chime in.
The trans dipstick and tube can be purchased as a set- again we could buy a specific one thru Roseville. All 727s are essentially the same for car applications. Don't know about trucks tho.
I'm picking up the hoses.

Water pump bolts are 3/8 coarse but length will vary with housing thickness & accessories to bolt on with the water pump
 Wheel studs are 1/2" fine thread but the knurl diameter is important , front or rear ? , why are they needed , I though it had regular ralley wheels on it ?
 Some one has to measure the drive shaft & or pinion yolk sizes to see if they are the small or large size , there is also a conversion joint if the sizes are different between the 2

Just thinking.... a torque strap might be a good idea too. That engine is going to be a torque monster!

Neil, longer studs are needed as the rims are hitting the springs. We had to temporarily put washers behind the rims. It has rally rims but they look to be custom/wider with 295 rims ?  It was said it's a B-Body rear end and has the offset shackles and hangers. From what I remember your going to need about a 3/8" spacer on the passenger side and 1/4" on the drivers?

Are you sure about that? Andy (2 or 3 months ago) told me he bought a proform 850.  Part number PFM67214. Maybe you haven't found it yet?

What about oil, I have a an extra case in the garage and may be able to locate some extra auto transmission fluid if its needed.
