A/C wire gromet

where does a/c wire gromet go through the firewall

On a '70 the green blower motor wire connects to the bukhead connectors.

I couldn't find any info on it either, but I know that the green wire does not go back "in" the car. :2cents:

Found the hole for the grommet. If you look up under the dash, it's a few inches straight above where the steering column clamps to the firewall. And if you're looking from the front in the engine compartment, it's to the left of and slightly obscured by the power brake booster.   :thumbsup:

The blower motor is powered by a wire that runs to the #4 spot of the bulkhead connector. The  holes in the firewall are for other things.

I don't profess to be an expert on '73 E-bodies, but our '70 Challenger is an A/C car, and the blower switch connects to the blower through the bulkhead connector.

That's how it was done on 70 and 71 I think. In 72 or 73-74 they went with a separate harness for the A/C blower which used a grommet. Here's the diagram from the '74 manual:
