The new dash pad in question does not include a name plate, so actually there is no difference.

Yes Alan,
Back in March, another member ran into a problem with his dash pad install at the same time I was installing mine.
I did some research and found there is a difference.
Not only the bead that runs along the top but how they match up to the dash molding down on each side.
There IS a difference....
