Distributor/Ignition
« on: June 20, 2014 - 04:15:36 PM »
Looking for a recommendation for a distributor/ignition kit for 340 1972 with 10 to 1 compression.

I am doing a rebuild and want something easy with good performance.  Would prefer a kit.  Price is always an issue because this

baby is adding up quick.  I have looked but prefer recommendations from this forum.

Thanks for any and all help.

There is little magic in ignition systems for street cars unless you like to sit at the Drive-In and compare parts with the local Ricky Race Cars :)

This is a proven system and the price is right :)

I like MSD Systems.

Ricky
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"
