The most important question you have to ask yourself is how much money do you want to spend. The sky is the limit on some of this stuff, granted you could do some things on a budget but a no holes barred build could cost you north of 75K in parts not including labor or the cost of the car.
john right!!!
im doing a resto mod cuda built for the track it really depends on how much you want to spend. ill give you a simple run down of what im doing and i price list
and this is all based on parts i like will vary from differnt builds.
so far
about 5 grand in sheet metal replacement.
front big bake kit from baer 1500
rear big brake kit disc 1200
rear suspension was 2500
front will be about 6000
rebuilding the 5.7 around 3000 just a guess if decide to bore and stroke it
front and rear wheels with rubber about 6000 "FORGELINE WHEELS"
tremec 5 speed set up theres another 4000
and then the interior which im leaving as stock as possible maybe around 2000 max
so like john has said it really depends on how much you would like to spend me personally im building my car to actually run at the track and be competative and more adjustable as well as who needs to build a car and let it sit in the garage or on a trailer lol
