It is a nice looking car but the price is way out of line.
As pointed out, the car lacks some of the basic TA stuff.  It may have a 904 trans, as noted are there sway bars as appropriate, and no power or disc? brakes.

There was an original TA plum crazy car painted silver being sold for best offer over 25,000.
Car needed total restoration but was not in terrible, destroyed condition and was mostly intact.
All of the TA options were there minus the exhaust and manifolds  and it was a four speed.
I would rather pick the other car up for 25,000 and put 25,000 into the restoration.
When you are done spending 50,000 or a little more, ,you would have a real T/A that will go up higher in value as improved.  It will never be a clone or tribute!
Not sure if someone picked it up, but it was a real T/A at an enthusiast price.

I agree, ridiculously high asking price, but it will sure turn heads.
I think the terms clone and tribute are mostly interchangeable but I prefer the term tribute.

I think the real issue is what value the terms do or do not bring to a vehicle. If you think your cloning efforts makes it worth more than the raw parts I can see why people have issues. Buyer beware..... But as long as someone is willing to pay and they actually know what they are getting, good for you...

As I stated in my above post...

"10.87 Frt Disc Brakes were Std & 11" Rear Drums were also Std.... Only B/E Application with Discs & 11" drums... "

So yes all other B/E bodies if they had disc brakes they would have 10" rear drums...
Non performance B/E bodies came std with 10" drums on all 4 wheels
Performance B/E bodies came std with 11" drums on all 4 wheels
Power Brakes was an option

C bodies weren't part of the post but since it was brought up yes C bodies got 11" rear drums with front discs.... But they also got 11.75" front rotors.... Your attempting to pull down allot of iron..
