    Magnaflow X pipe point up or down

    Hi Fellow Magnaflow people,
    Im installing my X pipe Magnaflow system, when installing the X pipe section, the short ends face forward, the long ends go into the mufflers, with regard to the short ends facing forward, once installed, do they point slightly up or slightly down???
    I have then during trial fit pointing up, looks ok at this point, if I was to point them down (that is flip the X pipe section) it would lift the pipes and give them more ground clearance but the park brake cables would be tight over the pipes.

    Any idea's???

    My TTI H-pipe points down if that helps.

    I put mine on pointing down, I used the 3 inch kit and wanted it high and tight..

    With my TTIs i didn't have an EB issue.  What issue are you encountering?

    None yet but, right now I have the pipes pointing up which means they are not tucked up super tight and the cables are limiting the pipes going higher a little, let me play with them some over this weekend and I'll take some pics and post.
    It's really just the wire hook that attaches to the tranny crossmember that holds the cables that go back either side

    Here is a pic of my issue,
    I have flipped the x pipe to now pont down, all good, happy with this, the EB cable naturally wants to sit about two thirds the way up through the pipe, if I put the cable either over or under it will rub on the pipes. I could relocate the hook rod on the trans crossmember higher I guess to hold the cables hard agains the floor, very near the drive shaft, this would get around the pipe issue and also hold the adjuster rod up high as its kind of hanging down right now begging for being torn off.

    any words of wisdom?

    The cable arrangement is different from 70 to 71.
