    Ref adding a tach,Speedhut does a dual speedo/Tach in one gauge, uses GPS for Speedo, you can either have the large needle as a speedo or a Tach and the smaller needle the other pending how you order it, that way the Tach and speedo are right in front of you

    Yeah, pretty cool, im planning on modifying a std instrument housing to fitt one of them along with oil, water,volts and gas to keep the original dash but have better gauges, will probably have to spin up some alloy tubes with flanges on them to mount the gauge in, cut the front of the tube to match the contour of the clear lens etc. dont want to build a new face, dont like the flat race look etc.

    What you are doing is almost exactly what I have in mind. I want to have as close to stock looking instruments as possible but with more reliability and accuracy.
    I have started mine and will post pics soon as I have something worth showing.

    it will be some time before I get to that, right now I have just purchased a complete dash minus all of the gauges, so I have the cluster housing, lens, bezel, basically I was going to purchase the gauges and figure it from there, big gauge will be a speedo with smaller Tacho with in it, smaller ones will be gas, oil, water and volts. What is in my mind is turn up some thin wall tubing with a mounting flange inside and a flange extermally to enable the tube to be screwed to the cluster housing, then cut the front of the tube to match the contour of the lens similar to the factory gauges. the cluster housing will more than likely have to have large holes cut through it for the back of the gauges etc but I have nothing hard and fast until I get the gauges, big task but I think well worth it, it will look factory until you look hard, much nicer than an aftermarket flat facia etc.

    I noticed they also have a speedo/fuel guage combo, I could see myself using that, then getting one of those redline tach's and putting it in the second slot where the fuel guage would normally be on my non-rallye cluster

    MM, actually thats not a bad idea! might steal that idea with my plan as I was having trouble deciding do I go big speedo small tacho or opposite on the one big gauge, having a large speedo and a full tacho gauge beside, albeit small in diam would be nice I think

    I officially informed my wife what I will be getting for my b-day hahaha. Then for Xmas I'll get the redline oil pressure guage to replace the factory clock!

    MM82 - I had redline put in a tach where the fuel gauge was and move that to replace the Alt meter, and install the oil pressure gauge in the blank space.  They also calibrated my speedo, reset the odometer since I'm restoring everything and polished the lens.  Very happy with their work, took about 4-5 weeks.
