Interior Door panels
« on: July 04, 2014 - 09:55:42 AM »
Hey guys

Due to my recent door handle breaking I am going to be taking the inside door panels off. My currenlt ones have massive holes drilled in them for speakers done by the PO so I am looking at replacing them.

What did you use? where did you get them? What kind of peices do places like year one and Classic sell and are they good?

Thanks for the input!

if it matters they are for a 74 challenger - white with manual windows and remote mirror.

Make sure you get Metro panels...Contact Dave at Roseville.

They're also on EBay all the time http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-1971-1972-1973-1974-Challenger-Door-Panels-BLACK-/261517266022?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ce3a4cc66&vxp=mtr#ht_536wt_779

have you bought from this person before?

also do you need to drill the hole for remote mirrors?

I got mine from Dave. Good to deal with.
You do have to drill the hole for the remote mirror knob

No I buy mine from Dave...I just posted that in case he doesn't currently have stock and you're in a hurry.
You have to drill the mirror remote hole on all aftermarket panels. :2cents:

Thanks!

I will prob give Dave a ring, I have bought from him in the past. I'd do it today if it wasn't a holiday down there!

is there an accepted measurement for this hole? As in how far down, how far in and what size of hole?
